The Parting Blessing of Moses (Deuteronomy 33:2-5)
PART 1/4 In a visit to Spencer Bridge Road in 2003, David Gilliland preached a short series on the parting blessings of Moses in Deuteronomy 33. In this first night of the meetings, he firstly overviews the chapter as pivotal, pictorial, positive, prophetic, pastoral, prayerful, progressive, poetical, patterned and practical.
Mr Gilliland then outlines the chapter and the subject for the meetings as:
- v2-5 The Prologue: The Origin of Blessing
- v6-25 The Catalogue: The Order of Blessing
- v26-29 The Epilogue: The Outcome of Blessing
He uses the rest of the time examining the prologue to the blessings in the first 5 verses of the chapter looking at God's location, light, love, learners, law and leadership.
