PART 1/6 Tom Bentley opened the 1995 conference looking at six occurrences of the word "must" in the gospel of Luke. After showing that Matthew is marked by the word "first", Mark by the word "immediately" and John by the word "verily", Tom Bentley shows that Luke is marked by the word "must".

2. "I must preach the kingdom of God" (4v43)
3. "The Son of Man must suffer many things" (9v22)
4. "I must walk to day" (13v33)
5. "I must abide at thy house" (19v5)
6. "All things must be fulfilled" (24v44)
