The Cure!

As we continue through this difficult time of COVID-19 we yearn for a cure that could potentially take us back to a normal lifestyle.

Medical experts across the globe have been striving to be the first organisation to create and distribute the much-needed vaccine. The race is on to provide a cure to this virus which is affecting many across various continents and countries.

The Bible reminds us of another disease, a spiritual disease which affects us all, the soul disease called sin. Each and every one of us is affected by this sickness of the soul which we have from birth as the Psalmist reminds us “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalm 51 v 5)

The symptoms with this soul disease are many, but the end outcome is inevitable – “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6 v 23)

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5 v 12)

Some try and deny they have this disease but “if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1 v 8)

But if we really look closely into our lives, and be honest with ourselves, we will see the marks of sin, “for all have sinned” (Romans 3 v 23)

BUT, there is a cure! There is a cure for the Sin, Sick, Soul! This is the GOOD NEWS from the Bible.

The Lord Jesus Christ came into the world to “save sinners” and he “did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth” (1 Peter 2 v 22)

Through the shedding of his precious blood, on the cross of Calvary, we can be cleansed of our sin – “the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1 v 7)

Christ died for our sins on the cross of Calvary and on the third day arose from the dead.

We eagerly await a day for a vaccine to be established for the Coronavirus but in the meantime, you can have your sin sick soul cured TODAY.

By repenting of your sin and trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ your sins will be forgiven. The assurance of a home in heaven will be guaranteed.

“Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin” (Psalm 51 v 2)
